This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the DC Comics character “Icon.” From his life as an alien Terminan named Arnus, crash-landing in a southern U.S. cotton field during 1800’s, his craft rebuilding his genetics to blend in with a nearby woman, growing to be a Terminan and human hybrid with extreme powers similar to Kryptonians like Superman, helping others achieve freedom with the “Underground Railroad,” assuming the name Augustus Freeman IV and being a successful lawyer, meeting and teaming up with his sidekick Raquel Ervin aka Rocket, joining the heroic “Shadow Cabinet” team, being the strongest superhero in “Dakotaverse,” mistakenly fighting and besting Superman, to then becoming good friends with Superman and the Justice League; Let’s take a look at this powerful DC superhero, and literal “Icon” of the civil rights movement in comic books. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated “Sage Rating,” which I use to give ratings of comic books and science fiction characters.
