A sad and tragic loss today, character actor Michael Clarke Duncan is dead at the age of 54. At a hulking 300 plus pounds, and a height of 6 foot 5, Michael Clarke Duncan appeared in numerous TV, films, and Video Game roles. He played a bad guy in the movie Sin City, Planet of the Apes, Armageddon, and TV’s “The Finder”, and Two and a Half Men. He used his prolific deep voice in various animation projects, like the video game where he played the Titan Atlas, in God of War 2. You may have seen him in the Movie Dare Devil, playing the Kingpin, but Michael Clarke Duncan may be best known for his Oscar-nominated performance as John Coffey the death row inmate in the film “The Green Mile”.

Duncan was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in a single-parent household with his sister, Judy, and mother Jean Duncan. He had to quit college at Alcorn State University to support his family when his mother became ill. He got various jobs like ditch digging, as a body guard, as a Bouncer at night clubs. Duncan even stated that one of his many jobs had been a stripper and that his stage name was Black Caesar.

Doncan was dating Apprentice Reality Star, Omarosa, Manigault, Stallworth, we know her as just Omarosa. Doncan met, Omarosa at the Grocery store and persued her and made her his woman. He fell in love with her. Michael Clarke Duncan has proclaimed his love for her and has stated, she was the most beautiful woman he has ever seen.

In July, Duncan was sent to the hospital after suffering from a heart attack. It was reported that his girlfriend, Omarosa, saved his life by performing CPR before he was transported to the hospital. A publicist quoted his Girl friend Omarosa as saying that Duncan had died that morning in Los Angeles at the age of 54. “The Oscar-nominated actor suffered a myocardial infarction on July 13, 2012 and never fully recovered.
