Lil Dicky grew up upper middle class in the northern end of Philly. He attended the University of Richmond got his hands on his degree and then scored a cushy job as an account manager at an advertising agency. But bored of the 9-5 he dreamt of becoming an actor / comedian and first stumbled upon rap as a means to entertain. Eventually he realized that he was actually better than just a joke and fell in love with the art form. For two years he stockpiled songs and videos so he could build up a proper fan base, quit his job and become the worlds most respected self depricatingjewish rapper and to change the game.
My name is Michael McCrudden documenting the rise to fame of Lil Dicky, here for you on Before They Were Famous.
